Youth In Office 2020

Every year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada brings young people from across the country to Parliament Hill to meet their elected officials and engage with politics. This year will be different, of course.

Youth mentors and mentees are coming together virtually with local Members of Parliament for “Big Banter – A Canadian Youth-led Conversation”. Youth from across Canada are invited to participate in these virtual conversations with local elected federal representatives including MPs and Senators on issues relevant to the experience of young people.

    Youth must be:

    • Between the ages 13 to 29 at the time of the event you are registered for
    • Living in Canada, and connected to or affiliated with a mentoring or youth serving organization
    • Able to attend a Youth in Office online event via the ZOOM platform (via computer or phone)

  • Youth Event Registrantion

    Youth are invited to submit questions to be asked of the panelists. You can submit up to three questions below. Questions will be reviewed by members of NYMAC. Selected questions will be posed during the event and you may be invited to elaborate on your question (if you wish to).
