GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that takes place on December 1, 2020, unleashing the power of people to transform their communities and the world. People can show their generosity in a variety of ways such as volunteering or giving to causes – every act of generosity counts.

At a time when we are all experiencing the global pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.

We all have gifts to give, and with social media, online giving, delivery, mail, and phones, there are limitless ways to use your generosity to support others.

We hope that you will take this opportunity to help Big Brothers Big Sisters recruit and train more volunteer mentors so that they can help ignite potential in a young person facing adversities. So many youth are waiting for that connection.

Our mentors are staying digitally close to their mentees during this time of physical distancing. Every moment a mentor spends with their mentee creates new and positive pathways in the young person’s brain. New sparks of potential, new positive feelings that lead to a healthier life, new learning about the successful person they can become.

Make mentoring your cause this Tuesday and donate to keep kids connected!
