Saturday, March 5th, 2022: Toronto, Ontario – Ashley HomeStore (AHS) and Hope to Dream (H2D) invited 30 kids from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York for a virtual day of fun at the Ontario Science Centre (OSC). Two incredibly special families visited the Ontario Science Centre to meet Georgia Ellenwood and attended the virtual workshop in person, as a part of Ashley HomeStore’s way to end sleeplessness, celebrate the gift of sleep, and the start of a 300 bed donation to children in need across the GTA.
Up until now, these children have either shared a bed or they’ve faced serious hardships keeping them from having a new bed of their own.
The Hope to Dream Day event had AHS staff, Georgia Ellenwood and Big Brothers Big Sisters come together to inspire 30 children from across the GTA to dream, have fun, and learn to reach their highest potential in a day of out-of–this-world activities. In the end, they were surprised with a gift they will remember for the rest of their lives – a new bed of their own.
